HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO TINT MY CAR?
-
A.
Being able to have the time to perform quality work on your vehicle is highly important to us, therefore, we have all cars dropped off between 8am -9am.
We are very busy during spring and summer and on Saturdays year round. We recommend that you call 1-2 days in advance for weekday appointments and 3-4 days in advance for Saturday appointments. If you are wanting a same day appointment, please call we might have a cancellation.
Please let us know if you are wanting to wait for your car when you make your appointment. We have no more than 2 waiting per day. ALL waiting appointments require a $50 deposit that is applied to the total price of the job. You may leave the deposit over the phone with your VISA, Master or Discover card or bring cash by the shop during normal business hours (Tues - Sat, 8a - 5p) Please keep this in mind when making your appointment. We can refund or reschedule your appointment and not forfeit your deposit if we are given notice 12 hours prior to scheduled time.
With your appointment under deposit, we promise to have your vehicle pulled in within 10 minutes after you pick the shades of your tint. Vehicle will be completed within 2 hours for most models. Most front doors can usually be completed in 30 to 45 minutes while you
wait. Please call in advance to check for availability. The cars are then done in the order in which they came in, so if you need your car in the early afternoon have it here close to 8am and it will be done after the 1-2 people waiting. Cars here closer to 9am will be completed between 4-5pm. We do not have waiter after another.
We try to avoid hurried work and make sure your car is done right, before we move on to the next car.
In fall and winter we are more flexible so give us a call and we might be able to do it right away.

WHAT DO YOU DO WITH SILVERING OF DOT-MATRIX?
-
A.
If the tint silvers evenly around the dot matrix we leave it as is. If the tint silvers unevenly, we press is down after the tint has dried completely around the edges. This improves the silvering but there still might be some. Large band of dot-matrix across the top of the back window, that silvers unevenly we will cut the tint out and use black vinyl. $25 additional charge applies.

WHAT ARE THESE CHIPS IN MY TINT?
-
A.
One thing to be careful about, once you have window tint, is your seat belts buckle. When removing your seat belt, be careful to not allow it to sling over and hit the window as this will make a little chip in the tint each time the seat belt buckle hits. This is not covered under warranty.

WHAT IS THIS 3M LOGO ON MY WINDOW AND HOW DO I REMOVE IT?
-
A.
We are extremely meticulous, and ensure a clean installation on each and every car, however it is possible that the 3M authenticity logos can be difficult to see while we are removing them. Often times it does take driving the car in different lighting situations to see the "shadow" of the stamps. 3M places the authenticity logo on their Color Stable, Ceramic and Crystalline series to ensure you are getting the quality 3M products you expect. The logos can quickly, and easily, be removed by simply applying rubbing alcohol to a clean soft cloth or paper towel, and wiping the logo until it vanishes. Or you can stop by the shop and we can remove it for you.
